Yellow Spring Nail Art Design

The GOT Polish Challenge this week was ‘Yellow’ and the Polish Party monthly theme was ‘Spring’ so I decided to incorporate them both into one manicure and create some yellow Spring nail art 🙂 .

I have been wanting to try another floral design for a while now as I wasn’t happy with my last one. Fortunately, the person who purchased them was happy enough which is the main thing 🙂 . I am quite new to designing nails on the scale of things, so I’m still learning techniques and trying new polishes, but I am happy with the way I’m progressing so far 🙂 !

Moving on to the design, here are the nail polishes I chose:

From right to left:

‘Sweetie’ by Sally Hansen which is a Sugar Coat textured nail polish
White by Pink Tease
Pistachio Ice Cream by MUA (£1 in Superdrug & the 2 below 😉 )
Lush Lilac by MUA (though it’s more pink than purple)
Bold Blue by MUA
344 by Miss Sporty – It has a number on the bottle rather than a colour name unfortunately 🙁

And here is what I created:

Spring-flowers-yellow-nail-artyellow-sally-hansen-sugar-coat-nail-art-flowers-springsally-hansen-yellow-sugar-coat-flower-nail-artSpring-flowers-with-sally-hansen-sugar-coat-nail-polishYou may not have noticed but I top coated my middle finger and pinky with a clear Sally Hansen – I wanted to see what effect it had on a textured nail polish, and as you can see it just ruins it; you can’t see the texture as much, so I won’t be doing that again!

What do you think? I much prefer it over my last attempt 🙂 xo
