Ikat and Half Moon Easy Nail Art Tutorial

Evening everyone hope you’re well!

I haven’t done a tutorial in a while, so today I have two for you 😀 – I actually made these weeks and weeks ago but forgot to post!

I was asked by @5polishednotes on Instagram if I’d like to do some twin nails, so I of course said yes as she creates wonderful nail art – plus I’d never done twin nails before! We decided on half moon nails and the Ikat print 🙂 .

To start with, here is a picture of mine and Melinda’s nails together:

  3. So cool! I haven’t done ikat nails yet but this explains it really well! I also love that you made the half moons with silver shreds instead of with polish 🙂

    • Thank you, glad you like the silver shreds, I wasn’t sure if it would work at first but I’m happy with how it turned out 😀

    • Thanks Jayna, the base colour I used was a Marks & Spencer Perfection Quick Dry nail polish in baby pink 🙂 it’s amazing!
