Today is a good day as I have finally found time to take part in the Polish Party again yay! And what a great one to take part in as this months theme includes two of my favourite things – glitter and rhinestones!
My last post was reviewing this wonderful nail polish by Barry M called ‘Diamond Glitter’:
You can see that post here. When I was deciding what glitter I wanted to use, this one immediately came to mind! It’s my go-to glitter polish for sure!
So here’s the ‘Glitter and Rhinestone Nail Art Design’ I came up with:
I chose to do it in a framed design. To see what this means and for a tutorial visit my post here.
Firstly I did a white base coat (see here) and then two coats of ‘Diamond Glitter‘ by Barry M. Once dry I stuck the rhinestones down using a brush on glue (you can buy this here) and then once they were all applied I sealed them with a clear top coat (Seche Vite). To pick up and place the diamantes down, I use these Orange Wood Sticks they’re great 🙂 .
Overall, I was so happy with how they looked and really enjoyed wearing this design. The rhinestones stayed on for about 4 days before they started to fall off (I was impressed by this as I thought they would only last a day).
Hope you like this design too! You can find the other ladies fabulous designs below 🙂 .
